      The coalescence separator is mainly used for liquid-liquid separation. It contains two kinds of filter elements, namely coalescing filter element and separation filter element. For example, in an oil-water separation system, after the oil enters the coalescing separator, it first flows through the coalescing filter element to filter out solid impurities and aggregate the small water droplets into larger water droplets. Most of the condensed water droplets can be separated from the oil by their own weight and deposited in the water collection tank. The oil then flows through the separation filter element. Because the separation filter has good hydrophobicity and lipophilicity, the water is further separated. Finally, clean anhydrous oil flows out of the coalescer. The oil enters the lower part of the filter housing through the intake pipe, and then flows from the outside to the inside of the filter core. At this time, the coarser particles will immediately settle down and be discharged by the drain valve, and the smaller particles will be trapped by the filter element.

       Finally, after the clean oil is collected by the filter disc, it flows out of the coalescer through the outlet pipe. As the amount of treated oil increases, the contaminants deposited on the filter element will cause the pressure difference of the coalescer to increase. When the pressure difference rises to 0.15Mpa, it indicates that the coalescing filter element is clogged and should be replaced. The oil enters the primary tray from the oil inlet of the coalescence separator, and then enters the interior of the primary filter element. After the process of filtration, demulsification, water molecule growth and coalescence, impurities are trapped in the primary filter element, the coalesced water beads are deposited in the sedimentation tank, and the oil enters the secondary filter element from the outside to the inside, in the secondary tray Collected from the outlet, out of the coalescence separator. The secondary filter material is hydrophobic and the oil can pass through smoothly. Free water is blocked outside the filter element, enters the sedimentation tank, and is discharged through the drain valve.
